TSAG requested ITU-T study groups to review the CWG-WCIT12 compilation of proposals and to report, to CWG-WCIT, regarding any work relevant to those proposals.

ITU-T Study Group 17 accomplishments during the 2008-2012 study period

ITU-T Study Group 17, Security is responsible for studies relating to security including cybersecurity, countering spam and identity management. Also responsible for the application of open system communications including directory and object identifiers, and for technical languages, the method for their usage and other issues related to the software aspects of telecommunication systems.
