Proposals for organization of CWG-WCIT12 work

1 Introduction

1.1 The terms of reference of the Council Working Group to prepare for the 2012 World Conference on International Telecommunications (CWG-WCIT-12) include preparing proposals to revise and/or abrogate, as appropriate, the WATTC-88 Resolutions, Recommendations and Opinion, and to prepare proposals, as appropriate, for draft new resolutions, recommendations and opinions for consideration by WCIT-12.

A number of ideas and suggestions related to this issue have been presented in the Contributions and Temporary documents of the first CWG-WCIT-12 meeting (Geneva, 25 January 2010), indicating that the CWG-WCIT-12 members are ready to start the work on the above proposals without delay.
